The first year after I lost Joseph I tried to read books and they would not register. I finally read the book 90 minutes in heaven the other day and as I read it I have had this calmness to come over me. It was really strange I pray heaven is the way he explains it. Dessa

Just like you I tried to read the first year and just couldn’t. But I also read 90 minutes in Heaven and found a special peace within me.
There are so many good books out there.
But I was thinking won’t it be wonderful if we could all put something together and write our own book about connecting thru our children site.
So many people have no ides what peace & support we receive thru one another.

i have not read any books , as i have found it hard to concentrate at time.

Diane that would be great about writing a book. I am no good at writing though. Angela, Don Piper wrote 90 minutes in Heaven. It's good after my sister reads it I will probably read it again. Hugs Dessa

I have not been able to read many books ...like someone said..they just don.t register with me....After Craig passed..I must have been given over 30 books. I don't think I ever read any one of them through...However, the only books that I wanted to read were about Heaven and Life after death etc.....I have an increased curiosity of people's accounts of heaven experiences and what it is like. I try to picture where Craig is and what he is doing.
Joyce Yack recently sent me a book about heaven which I very much enjoyed!
I am going to look through some of those books that I was given and start reading....I know people who have been so comforted by reading.

Judie, you must read the book 90 minutes in heaven. It gives a calming feeling the way he explains heaven. It did to me.

Dessa, I'm so glad you got some feelings of peace after reading 90 mins in heaven. I've not read it, but have lots of similiar books.
I couldn't read a book for around 2yrs and it's only just really in January, that I've read a book straight through, without having around 6 piled up by my bed!A great book to read that I recently got is called: Love Never Dies by Sandy Goodman. I got it from Amazon.com It's a true story of Sandy who lost her son at 18yrs and will explain even more fully. We are never alone and love indeed never dies. Love and Blessings Denise xxx

p.s. Judie, just imagine your Craig doing the things he normally did and where he would be, is where he always hung out (not physically of course). Just that they still carry the same personalities and will be with folk they know and love, learning more lessons that carry on from this life. Love and Blessings Denise xxx
